Animal rescue is an extremely rewarding occupation. Unfortunately, though, it is also very costly. At any given time, we have anywhere from 10 to 30 dogs to care for and the monthly costs can run anywhere from $450 to $2500.00 a month. We ALWAYS have an ongoing bill at the vet, and all of it comes out of our own pocket. We are a private nonprfit rescue, which means we receive no funding from state, county or government sources. Therefore, we rely on public donations for support. Listed below are many of the things that we need on an ongoing basis along with the general cost for that item.
